Choose from cloud-based and on-premise solutions (compare editions...)
The trial version of Controlio is limited to 5 users and 14 days. The trial version of WE Std&Pro editions is limited to 5 clients and 30 days. No functionality-based limits.
We recommend selecting the cloud-based Controlio edition if:
- you want to monitor remote users (out of your LAN)
- you want to use web console for reporting and management from any device and location
- you do not want to install any server software components
- you do not want to have any extra hardware/software maintenance costs
- you want to record every second of users' activity like a movie
We recommend selecting the on-prem Work Examiner editions (Std, Pro) if:
- all your computers are in the same LAN
- you need to store all the data inside your company
- you have less than 100 employees (less than 10 for Std)
We recommend selecting the on-prem Controlio edition if:
- all your computers are in the same LAN
- you need to store all the data inside your company
- you have more than 50 employees
Here are our recommendations on selecting the on-premises product and version:
Controlio On-Premises: you have more than 50 users and want to store data in-house (or in AWS Private Cloud).
Work Examiner Standard: you have 1..10 users and want to store data in-house.
Work Examiner Professional: you have 10+ users and want to store data in-house.
